A convoy of military vehicles was moving east.
Dramatic early clouds.
A small water fall towards the beginning of the 2000 feet climb.
Shutter speed of 1/1600
Joe spotted this chipmunk, and i snapped the shot.
Target height, give or take.
Butterfly on a flower.
Long exposures.
Reflection of clouds in Rachel Lake
Somebody's dogs in the bitingly cold lake.
A camp robber.

Joe attempted to feed camp robbers carrots.
It grabbed the carrot chunk, and flew away shortly.
Another attempt.
Can you spot the old man?
The lake was pretty interesting. The bottom is flat for a while, then just dives down into the bluest water I have ever seen.
Massive power.
These rocks take a pounding 24/7.
The same waterfall we saw on the way up, but a better light angle.
The Rampart walls, which is about where we were early.
I90 on the way back.
A classic trailer unit device.
This was headed in the opposite direction.
