The Arboretum

My dad wakes me up one day, bright and early, at about 10am. "We're going to the Arboretum, he says."

20 minutes later, I'm in the car, heading towards Seattle. Fantastic.
It was a pretty nice day. had a big of sunshine at some point.


These confused me at first. I thought it was upside down, but apparently they aren't.




Too bad my Micro-Lense isn't very good. No aperture control. Manual focus too.

Snow Storm 2008

In December, the Pacific Northwest experienced basically the largest snow storm in the history of the Northwest. Just kidding. But not. It ruined plenty of my plans and gave me cabin fever, but all's well. It was very pretty.

Foggy Nights

There's been a strange fog for the past few nights in the Bellevue area. I was really bored at about 12:30AM and decided (coaxed?) into taking some pictures outside.

It was pretty scary. I did not enjoy being out there. It was cold, dark, and it was either dead silent, or there was something small moving.

Awesome Snow Day

Yep. It happened. It finally snowed a substantial amount here in Bellevue. After being gypped of a "ice day" last year, BSD realized their mistake and cancelled school. This is day two of snow related cancellations.

Keep in mind that it did not snow on day 1 of the snow break.


The name of the game was long exposure.. as I generally stuck to a ISO lower than 500.
